\n\tHILVERSUM: Talpa Media is purchasing the remaining 50.1 percent stake in Talpa Germany from Axel Springer, giving it full control of the German production outfit.<\/p>\n
\n\tTalpa acquired 49.9 percent of Talpa Germany, previously named Schwartzkopff TV, in December 2014. Mutual options for a total sale were granted in the course of this transaction. Following Talpa Media's takeover by ITV earlier this year, these options became effective and were mutually exercised.<\/p>\n
\n\tDr. Jens Müffelmann, the CEO of Axel Springer Digital Ventures, said: "Axel Springer and Schwartzkopff TV, now Talpa Germany, have been linked together in a success story spanning 15 years, which would not have been possible without the efforts of the Managing Director Karsten Roeder and his entire team.
