\n\tLONDON: Veteran TV executives Pat Younge, Narinder Minhas and Lucy Pilkington have come together to launch Sugar Films, billed as a 360-degree media company.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe company encompasses production outfit Sugar Films and its digital arm Sugar Films Lab. The idea is to "integrate television content, digital production and creative solutions to create bold, entertaining and provocative programming for young, mainstream and diverse audiences."<\/p>\n
\n\tYounge, previously the chief creative officer of BBC Productions, serves as managing director, with oversight for Sugar Films Lab and the company’s operations. Minhas and Pilkington are creative directors, leading the development of new content and formats across a range of platforms. Minhas was formerly the director of programs at Diverse Productions and also worked at Channel 4 as a commissioning editor. Pilkington has worked as a commissioning editor for a range of terrestrial, digital and global broadcasters. Most recently at BBC Worldwide, she adapted Come Dine With Me<\/em> and Stargazing<\/em> for the international market.<\/p>\n \n\tYounge said, “The proliferation of broadcasters and platforms seeking quality content makes this the right time for us to launch Sugar Films.
