\n\tLONDON: Lucinda Hicks, currently the joint managing director of Dragonfly, has been appointed to the post of chief operating officer at Endemol Shine UK.<\/p>\n
\n\tHicks will work with recently appointed Endemol Shine UK CEO, Richard Johnston, and Chairman Lucas Church in supporting the U.K.-based companies and labels that fall under the newly combined U.K. operation. In the COO role, Hicks will focus on the general management and execution of the U.K. business and its growth, drawing on this experience and reporting to Johnston as CEO.<\/p>\n
\n\tFellow Dragonfly joint MD, Mark Raphael, now assumes sole leadership for the company. Hicks will continue to work closely with Dragonfly, but will transition into the new role over the coming months.<\/p>\n
\n\tJohnston said: “I could not be more delighted that Lucinda has agreed to take up this new role across the U.K. companies. At a group level with Shine she helped spot and support individuals and companies from contrasting backgrounds and at different stages of their evolution and has five years worth of knowledge of the Shine Group companies, whilst for the last two years she has lived the challenges and complexities involved in running the commercial side of a production company in the U.K. It is an almost unique skill set that makes her absolutely perfect for the role.” <\/p>\n
