\n\tLONDON: FremantleMedia International has hired Georgia Brown, previously an acquisitions exec at Shine International, as its senior VP of scripted.<\/p>\n
\n\tBrown will report to Jens Richter, the company's CEO, as well as Sarah Doole as part of the global drama team. She joins FremantleMedia from Shine International, where she was the senior VP of acquisitions and oversaw projects such as Broadchurch<\/em> and Code of a Killer <\/em>and secured a first-look deal for Shine International with scripted indie Ecosse Films. Brown was previously commercial manager for indie drama at BBC Worldwide.<\/p>\n \n\tRichter said: “Georgia is one of the industry’s rising stars; she has excellent working relationships with some of the best writing and production talent in the business and a fantastic track record in deal closing.
