\n\tLONDON: Jane Featherstone, who has been the chief executive of Kudos since 2011, is set to leave the company in the spring.<\/p>\n
\n\tFeatherstone joined Kudos in 2000 as the head of drama. She will continue to work in a hands-on executive producer role on a number of commissioned projects, including Broadchurch <\/em>for ITV, River <\/em>for BBC One, Humans<\/em> for C4\/AMC and the Spooks <\/em>movie. She then plans to take a break from work for the remainder of 2015. Featherstone will be working with Dan Isaacs, the COO, and the senior creative team at Kudos on a transition over the next few months. She plans to exit in May.<\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\tFeatherstone said: “I have had the most extraordinary and rewarding 15 years at Kudos, in which time I've had the privilege to work with some of television’s most creative brains, gifted writers, directors, actors and craftspeople on what I believe are some of the best shows on telly. I've also been able to collaborate with exceptional colleagues around the world in a fabulous and fun eight years as part of Shine and could not be prouder of what we've collectively achieved and the shows created in this time. It was always going to be incredibly tough for me to leave at any time, but if I'm ever going to, now is the time to do so. I've been considering taking a break away from work and with Kudos entering a new phase as part of the new joint venture between Shine and Endemol, now feels like the right moment for me to go. I plan, and look forward to, taking a proper break once my latest slate of shows is complete. I have no doubt the incredibly talented team at Kudos will thrive in the new group and we will together take time over the next few months to work through with Sophie Turner Laing and Tim Hincks the very best way to plan for this and transition the company smoothly.”<\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTim Hincks, the president of Endemol Shine Group, said: "Jane has built Kudos into one of the most prolific and admired production companies in our industry. After 15 incredible years she deserves a break, and I wish her every happiness.
