In return, Endemol will get the exclusive first-look distribution rights on Amber&#039;s output.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tFounded in 2009, Amber Television is led by Ileen Maisel and Lawrence Elman, both of whom have extensive experience in the film industry. The company is focused on the acquisition of IP rights of literary works, producing feature films, docs, TV series and digital content. Recent projects include <em>Romeo and Juliet<\/em>, adapted by <a href=\"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/articles\/display\/46586\">Julian Fellowes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCathy Payne, the CEO of Endemol Worldwide Distribution (EWD), commented: &ldquo;EWD are delighted to be working with Amber. We look forward to announcing our first project together as part of this partnership.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAmber&#039;s Maisel and Elman added: &ldquo;The opportunity to work with the Endemol team gives us access to the best television talent in the world.
