\n\tMUNICH: Lionsgate and Tele München Group (TMG) have signed a new, expanded multiyear output agreement covering the distribution of Summit titles in Germany and Austria across all platforms.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe deal comes ahead of the April 10 theatrical premiere of Divergent <\/em>in those two European markets. Other titles covered under the new deal include The Last Witch Hunter<\/em> and the sequel to Now You See Me<\/em>. For the last six years TMG has had an output agreement with Summit.<\/p>\n \n\t“We’re delighted to elevate our long-standing partnership with TMG to the next level and expand and fortify our relationship with a pipeline loaded with potential franchises and star-driven branded properties,” said Patrick Wachsberger and Rob Friedman, the co-chairmen of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.<\/p>\n \n\tHerbert G. Kloiber, the chairman of TMG, added, “Having been an early investor in Lionsgate when Jon Feltheimer and Michael Burns re-launched the company in 1999, I am pleased that our strong and longstanding relationships with both Summit and Lionsgate have now come full circle.
