\n\tLONDON: Following Janice Hadlow's move to become the controller of special projects and seasons at the BBC, Adam Barker has been tapped as acting controller for BBC Two and BBC Four.<\/p>\n
\n\tBarker is currently editorial executive for BBC Two and Four. He takes up the new acting controller post as of March. He will be leading the channels until a permanent appointment is made.<\/p>\n
\n\tBarker said: “I’m delighted to be offered this opportunity to take care of two of the BBC’s most distinctive television channels on an interim basis and look forward to working with Danny and the channel teams to keep them firmly on track during this time of transition.”<\/p>\n
\n\tDanny Cohen, BBC's director of television, added: “BBC Two and BBC Four are on fine form and it’s important there’s no delay in commissioning decisions during this interim period.
