It will now go into production as a full series this spring. Reggie Yates will host (he also hosted the one-off special).<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe 6&#215;1-hour game show will see unsuspecting contestants enter a forest at dusk. They will face a set of terrifying challenges to get their hands on money that is locked in chests. In order to keep the money, they must out-run a pack of hounds guarding the loot.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAngela Jain, ITV&#039;s director of digital channels and acquisitions, said: &quot;<em>Release the Hounds <\/em>was one of those rare things&mdash;a show that defies description but that once you watch it, just works&mdash;both terrifying and entertaining in equal measure, we are thrilled to bits that a full series will be on ITV.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAdam Wood, joint managing director of Gogglebox Entertainment, said: &ldquo;The Halloween special proved a big hit and a real talking point on social media.
