The Scandinavian production company, founded in 2004, is focused on scripted series and films. Some of its hits include <em>Dicte<\/em>, which has a second season in production. It is also currently producing the epic war TV drama <em>1864<\/em>. In films, Miso is responsible for the Danish thriller <em>The Candidates<\/em> and co-produced the Norwegian WWII resistance drama <em>Max Manus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tCecile Frot-Coutaz, the CEO of FremantleMedia, commented: &ldquo;This is an important milestone in building our prime-time scripted business and strengthening our position in the Scandinavian market. Jonas and Peter&rsquo;s talent and strong track record in producing high-end drama, together with their current slate, makes Miso Film a perfect fit for FremantleMedia and complements our existing high end scripted business in the US, Germany and Australia.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>\n\tJonas Allen and Peter Bose, Miso Film&#039;s founders, commented: &quot;Partnering with FremantleMedia is an important step forward in Miso Film&#039;s growth strategy.
