\n\tLONDON: Louise Holmes has been named VP of programming for Comedy Central UK, effective November 25.<\/p>\n
\n\tHolmes is tasked with looking after Comedy Central's programming, scheduling and research in the U.K. She will also oversee programming and scheduling for other territories managed by the U.K. office. Holmes will report into Jill Offman, the managing director of Comedy Central UK and senior VP of international content at Comedy Central.<\/p>\n
\n\tHolmes is currently the head of marketing for BBC Two, BBC Three and BBC Four. Prior to this, Holmes served four years as the channel director of Discovery Networks Italy.<\/p>\n
\n\tOffman commented, “I am thrilled that Louise is joining us as VP of rogramming. The breadth of knowledge and experience she has gained throughout her TV career to date will be invaluable as we continue to grow Comedy Central, delivering the best and most innovative content to our 16-34 audience.”<\/p>\n
