STOCKHOLM: Modern Times Group (MTG) has made some changes to its Baltic management team, alongside the announcement that it is expanding the production company Paprika Latino to the region.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Baiba Zuzena has been elevated to CEO of MTG’s Latvian free-TV and radio operations. She has been with MTG since 2004, most recently serving as the COO for free TV and radio in Latvia. Raivo Rosts continues in his duties as the CEO of pay-TV Baltics. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kaspars Ozolins is exiting the role of CEO of MTG’s Baltic broadcasting operations to join Paprika Latino as the head of Baltic operations, starting this fall. Paprika Latino is expanding its operations into the Baltics and adding Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to its current portfolio of seven countries. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Starting September 2, Marek Singer, the executive VP of the group’s Central European broadcasting, will resume the responsibilities as CEO of MTG’s Baltic broadcasting operations. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Singer commented: “Baiba has been instrumental in establishing MTG as the number one media house in Latvia, where we currently operate six free-TV channels and she is the right person to develop further growth and make strategic decisions in the country. I would also like to thank Kaspars for his dedication and the business acumen he has demonstrated in establishing MTG as the leading pan-Baltic free-TV and pay-TV broadcaster and DTH satellite operator and I am very much looking forward to working closer with this exciting market.” <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
