LONDON: A multi-year licensing pact has been secured by LOVEFiLM to bring a range of content from CBS Studios International (CBSSI) to its streaming service in the U.K. and Germany. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This includes hit CBS series such as The Good Wife <\/em>and Blue Bloods<\/em> along with premium programming from Showtime, including Nurse Jackie<\/em>, Californication <\/em>and Dexter<\/em>. The pact also sees the original 1960s Star Trek Voyager <\/em>series available for streaming on demand. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Simon Morris, the chief marketing officer at LOVEFiLM, said: “We’re thrilled to announce this latest deal with CBS Studios Int., and bring another great selection of hit U.S. TV shows to our members. The quality, quantity and diversity of what we can offer our members is absolutely fantastic which is why we’re quickly becoming the first choice subscription service for TV fans.”

\nArmando Nuñez, the president and CEO of CBS Global Distribution Group, added: “We’re excited to partner with LOVEFiLM and their terrific subscription service on an agreement that will bring their UK and German subscribers a range of CBS content that audiences around the world are very passionate about. Separately, LOVEFiLM announced that it has updated its LOVEFiLM.com Instant streaming app on Internet-connected Bravia TVs, Blu-ray players and home cinema systems from Sony. The features include a Watchlist function, Smart-lists and easier navigation between content. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
