Buccaneer also signed a development deal with Impact Film and Television, the producers behind <em>Lost Christmas<\/em>. Among the four projects already included as part of the deal is a fresh take on <em>Jekyll and Hyde<\/em>, with Eddie Izzard attached to star. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Wood was previously serving as the creative director at Lime Pictures, where he was responsible for such brands as <em>The Only Way is Essex <\/em>and <em>Hollyoaks<\/em>. He also worked on the <em>House of<\/em><\/span><\/span><em> <\/em><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><em>Anubis <\/em>format and the ITV hit <em>Coronation Street<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Wood, the CEO of Buccaneer Media, said: &ldquo;Launching Buccaneer is a hugely exciting move for me. Our ambition is to build a globally focused company producing everything from family entertainment to high quality drama and structured reality rooted in the social media landscape.
