PARIS: Thandie Newton, Famke Janssen, Gene Simmons, Eli Roth and Max Irons are among the stars heading to Cannes for this year’s MIPTV.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Thandie Newton (Crash<\/em>, Mission: Impossible II<\/em>) will be promoting Entertainment One’s Rogue<\/em>. The show’s creator, writer and supervising producer, Matthew Parkhill (The Caller<\/em>), and its executive producer and co-director, Nick Hamm (Killing Bono<\/em>), will also be there to promote Rogue<\/em>. Entertainment One is also bringing down rock legend Gene Simmons as a guest. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Famke Janssen (X-Men<\/em>) is going to be presenting the new thriller Hemlock Grove <\/em>from Gaumont International Television. She will be joined by the series’ executive producer and the renowned director Eli Roth (Inglorious Basterds<\/em>, Hostel<\/em>) and the Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård (Anna Karenina<\/em>, Simon and the Oaks<\/em>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Starz’s Da Vinci’s Demons<\/em> is lined up to make its World Premiere TV Screening at MIPTV, with writer, executive producer and co-director David S Goyer (The Dark Knight <\/em>trilogy) and actors Tom Riley (Monroe<\/em>, Arcadia<\/em>), Laura Haddock (The Inbetweeners Movie<\/em>), Lara Pulver (True Blood<\/em>, Spooks<\/em>) and Blake Riston (Rock’n Rolla<\/em>). The show is being sold internationally by BBC Worldwide. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The AMC Studios and Endemol Studios co-production Low Winter Sun <\/em>will also have a host of talent in Cannes. The British actors Mark Strong (Zero Dark Thirty<\/em>) and Lennie James (Snatch<\/em>) will be on the red carpet along with the series’ writer and executive producer Chris Mundy (Hell on Wheels<\/em>). Endemol will also be there with the comedian and TV host Steve Harvey, who is promoting his new U.S. syndicated daytime series The Steve Harvey Show<\/em>, which is being distributed by Endemol Worldwide Distribution. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
