MAINZ: ZDF Enterprises is commemorating its 20th anniversary by showcasing a slate of new premium programs at MIPTV, which will also mark the official launch of its new corporate structure. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The company previously announced a new corporate structure that divided the business into genre-specific units. MIPTV will be the first time that the company is exhibiting with its new structure. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From ZDFE.junior, the new series Mako Mermaids<\/em>, from Jonathan M. Shiff (H20: Just Add Water<\/em>), is a highlight. There’s also a third season of Dance Academy<\/em>. The CBBC co-production Wolfblood <\/em>continues to attract buyers’ attention. The division is also presenting <\/em>the girl-skewed Wendy<\/em>, about friendships, horses and romance. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From ZDFE.drama, House Husbands <\/em>is an Australian-set dramedy about four modern families where the fathers are the ones who stay at home with the kids. Dicte<\/em> is a Scandinavian crime series about a female reporter who writes about crime and investigates as well. The Killing <\/em>is back with its third season. Further highlights include The Fall<\/em>, which stars Gillian Anderson; the TV movie Cybergeddon<\/em>; Reef Doctors<\/em>, about a clinic that serves Australia’s Great Barrier Reef; Lost in Borneo<\/em>, an eco-drama; and Death of a Pilgrim<\/em>, a thriller about the search for the assassin of Sweden’s Prime Minister. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ZDFE.factual presents the six-part documentary Last Secrets of the Third Reich<\/em>, as well as Doomsday<\/em>, which comes in time to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI. America’s response to terrorists is at the center of a trio of docs: CIA Confidential<\/em>, Inside the NSA <\/em>and Counterterror NYC<\/em>. Additional highlights include Cosmic Encounters<\/em>, shot in space in 3D; Martian Mega Rover<\/em>; and Robinson Crusoe’s Treasure I<\/em>sland<\/em>. There’s also Swamp Men<\/em>, season three of Hard Time<\/em>, season two of License to Drill<\/em>, Navajo Cops <\/em>and Rocket City Rednecks<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ZDFE.entertainment highlights include Wanna Bet?<\/em>, a mix of talk, game and variety elements. Your Song <\/em>is about inspiring young songwriting talents, coming alongside the kid-skewed Challenge<\/em> and the celebrity-based Web vs. Celeb<\/em>. Food formats are also among the top entertainment shows for the company, including Money Meals<\/em>, Kitchen Battle <\/em>and Lichter! Lafer! Lucious!<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
