STOCKHOLM: Viasat Broadcasting and the National Basketball Association (NBA) have entered into a multi-year pay-TV partnership that delivers season-long coverage of the league’s events in Russia, the CIS and Georgia on the Viasat Sport East channel.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Viasat Sport East will air up to five regular season games per week as well as events such as the NBA All-Star, the complete Eastern and Western Conference Play-off series and the NBA Finals. The channel is available on the Raduga TV digital satellite TV platform in Russia as well as on third-party satellite, IPTV and cable networks. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“In a region with such knowledgeable and passionate fans, our partnership with Viasat will provide broad coverage throughout the regular-season, culminating in the finals,” said Dan Markham, NBA’s VP of media distribution and emerging markets.
