He will be working closely with Zeiler, the president of Turner Broadcasting System. Zeiler was previously the CEO of RTL Group, where Herrgesell served as executive VP of communications, public affairs and marketing from 2006 until earlier this year. Herrgesell will be reporting to Jeff Matteson, the senior VP of communications at Turner Broadcasting System.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;This position and Oliver&rsquo;s professional stature reflect the importance of our international business interests,&rdquo; said Matteson.  &ldquo;Oliver brings experience, standing and a long working relationship with Gerhard Zeiler to a senior leadership role that will have significant influence on the company&rsquo;s continuing efforts to position, advantage and grow its international entertainment, animation and news brands&rsquo; profile and collective success.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;Oliver is one of the most innovative, well-connected and respected media professionals it has been my pleasure to work with, and I&rsquo;m delighted he is joining the Turner International leadership team,&rdquo; commented Zeiler.  &ldquo;I have quickly come to depend on the strategic focus and professionalism of the Turner Broadcasting communications effort around the world.
