It will show films produced by the British Museum, with a mix of short- and long-form documentaries. Topics include Journeys of Faith, Great Leaders, Stories of the World, Contemporary Artists and Shakespeare. A number of lectures and short films about current exhibitions are also included. The Museum currently shares its video content on its website, through a YouTube channel and via social media, so the launch of a full VOD service is a first for the organization. It is also the first time that BT Vision has offered a channel of this sort. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Marc Watson, the CEO of BT Vision, said: &ldquo;It is a privilege to be a partner of the British Museum and bring these programs to BT TV viewers. Our customers can visit the museum without leaving their armchairs and see captivating stories of humanity, from civilizations which disappeared thousands of years ago to the world we live in today.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Joanna Mackle, the director of public engagement at the British Museum, added: &ldquo;This is a really exciting collaboration. BT Vision is a wonderful way to widen access to some fascinating documentaries from the British Museum. We are keen to share our content freely and as widely to allow as many people as possible access to the collections and the wonderful stories it tells.
