{"id":4346,"date":"2012-11-20T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-11-20T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2012\/11\/20\/chello-central-europe-buys-power-content\/"},"modified":"2012-11-20T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-11-20T00:00:00","slug":"chello-central-europe-buys-power-content","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2012\/11\/20\/chello-central-europe-buys-power-content\/","title":{"rendered":"Chello Central Europe Buys Power Content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">LONDON: Power has sold 200 hours of TV movies, series and mini-series to Chello Central Europe.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">The&nbsp;multiplatform, multi-territory agreement&nbsp;includes basic cable, SVOD and TVOD rights for Chello Central Europe&#8217;s Film Mania and Film Caf&eacute; channels in Hungary and Film Caf&eacute; in Romania. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Titles involved in the deal include <em>Doctor Zhivago<\/em>, based on the book by Boris&nbsp;Pasternak;&nbsp;<em>Crusoe<\/em>, an adventure series starring Sean Bean; and <em>Merlin<\/em>, an Arthurian fantasy, which won an Emmy Award.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Steve Turney,&nbsp;<\/span><font face=\"Verdana\" class=\"Apple-style-span\">Power&#8217;s VP of sales and acquisitions, remarked: &quot;We are immensely happy to have concluded this deal.
