There was a spike in the number of companies from Latin America, up 36 percent; China, with 116 companies, marking a 30-percent increase; South Korea, touting 119 companies, up 12 percent; and Canada, which was the country of honor this year, with 252 companies representing the contingent, a gain of 11 percent. The amount of U.S. companies at MIPCOM also grew, up 11 percent.
