{"id":4273,"date":"2012-10-11T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-10-11T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2012\/10\/11\/raft-of-sales-secured-by-zdfe\/"},"modified":"2012-10-11T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-10-11T00:00:00","slug":"raft-of-sales-secured-by-zdfe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2012\/10\/11\/raft-of-sales-secured-by-zdfe\/","title":{"rendered":"Raft of Sales Secured by ZDFE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">CANNES: A number of deals were already secured by ZDF Enterprises before MIPCOM and the company has wrapped a further set of sales in Cannes.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Before the market even started, ZDFE had inked agreements with such broadcasters as the BBC, RAI Italy, TVE in Spain, FTV Prima in the Czech Republic, Canal+ in France and Sky Germany as well as the online platform Netflix for the U.S. and U.K.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">At MIPCOM, ZDFE was joined by Foz Allan, producer of the new children&#8217;s drama series <em>Wolfblood<\/em>; Oliver Berben from Moovie, producers of the mini-series <em>Crime: Stories<\/em>; Peter Bose and Jonas Allen from Danish Miso Film for the crime series <em>Dicte<\/em>; and Dolphin Digital Studios, co-producers of Anthony Zuiker&#8217;s <em>Cybergeddon<\/em>. Gillian Anderson and writer Allan Cubitt were in Cannes with ZDFE to launch the new crime show <em>The Fall<\/em>, a co-production with BBC Two.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Alexander Coridass, the president and CEO of ZDF Enterprises, commented: &ldquo;We are pleased with the enormous interest of international clients in the latest additions to our catalogue. Despite the difficult times, creativity in the industry is booming.
