{"id":4169,"date":"2012-08-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-08-23T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2012\/08\/23\/channel-4-reveals-fall-highlights\/"},"modified":"2012-08-23T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-08-23T00:00:00","slug":"channel-4-reveals-fall-highlights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2012\/08\/23\/channel-4-reveals-fall-highlights\/","title":{"rendered":"Channel 4 Reveals Fall Highlights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">LONDON: Among the shows that Channel 4 has lined up for its fall programming roster are the drama <em>The Fear<\/em> and the brand-new factual series <\/span><em><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">999: What&#8217;s Your Emergency? <\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Other factual series for Channel 4 include <em>Drugs Live: The Ecstasy Trial<\/em> (working title); <em>Guy Martin: Building Britain<\/em>; <em>The Aristocracy<\/em> (working title), from filmmaker Patrick Forbes; and a second round of <em>The Food Hospital<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">There are a host of comedy and entertainment titles set for the channel&#8217;s fall grid, including <em>Full English<\/em>, an animated series. Gok Wan presents the dating game show <em>Baggage<\/em>. Returning series include <em>Friday Night Dinner<\/em>, <em>Peep Show<\/em>, <em>Derren Brown<\/em>, a trio of <em>Big Fat Quiz s<\/em>pecials and The British Comedy Awards. Further highlights include <em>Alan Carr: Chatty Man<\/em> and <em>Million Pound Drop Live<\/em>. The channel will also host the national fundraising event Stand Up to Cancer. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">New factual entertainment, features and daytime programming are on their way as well. Highlights include <em>Kevin McCloud: Man Made Home<\/em> (working title), <em>Hotel Britannia <\/em>(working title), <em>Jewish Mum of the Year<\/em>,<em> George Clarke&#8217;s Small Space Revolution<\/em> (working title) and the brand-new<em> Stephen Fry: Gadget Man<\/em> (working title). Heston Blumenthal leads the new tentatively titled series <em>Heston Feeds 5,000<\/em>. Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty team up for<em> Jamie and Jimmy&#8217;s Food Fight Club<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Drama also tops the slate, including<em> The Fear<\/em>, which stars Peter Mullan. Further highlights include <em>Everyday<\/em>, a single feature-length drama; <em>Coup<\/em>, starring Gabriel Byrne; and the six-part thriller <em>Utopia<\/em>.
