Comedy and drama are the top two genre choices among the U.K. and Irish members. The highest night for consumption is Sunday. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&quot;This membership milestone is evidence that Netflix has rapidly gained popularity in the U.K. and Ireland,&quot; said Reed Hastings, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Netflix&#8217;s CEO<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">. &quot;Our British and Irish members clearly enjoy the ability to instantly watch a large variety of TV shows and films streaming from Netflix on their favorite devices whenever they want.&quot;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">TV presenter and gadget expert Pollyanna Woodward commented, &quot;Consumers are beginning to spend more time enjoying entertainment online, streaming TV and film, and this trend is only growing.
