Also part of the deal are <em>Treme<\/em>, <em>The Wire<\/em> and <em>The Sopranos<\/em>, among others. Consumers can download single episodes or full seasons.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Colin Smith, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">HBO&rsquo;s director of international digital distribution, said: &ldquo;HBO delivers innovative, critically acclaimed programming and it is part of our ongoing strategy to make this content available to viewers in a variety of formats so they can immerse themselves in their favorite shows whenever, wherever.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Michael Comish, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Blinkbox&#8217;s chief executive, added: &ldquo;This just adds to all that makes Blinkbox great: the latest movie releases available without subscription, and now acclaimed TV series before they are available anywhere else in the U.K.&rdquo;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: The U.K. VOD provider Blinkbox has signed a deal with HBO for the electronic sell-through rights to a range of content, including the second seasons of Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire.
