The marketing rights are now controlled by the EBU, which is in charge of organizing the next festival in Brussels. The festival has been held in Lucerne since 2004, and before that was in Montreux. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Marc Walder, the CEO of Ringier, said: &ldquo;Ringier was able to position the Rose d&#8217;Or again as what it is&mdash;one of the most important entertainment television festivals in the world. The European Broadcasting Union can now offer this event the perfect platform for a great future. And I&rsquo;m delighted about that.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Ingrid Deltenre, the EBU&#8217;s director general, added: &ldquo;The Rose d&rsquo;Or Festival encapsulates quality and innovative entertainment values which are at the heart of public service broadcasting.
