LONDON: Sky has acquired Parthenon Media Group in order to set up a distribution arm that will sell the platform’s original content to the worldwide market.

Reporting to Sophie Turner Laing<\/a>, Sky’s managing director of entertainment, news and broadcast operations, Parthenon’s founder and CEO Carl Hall will lead Sky’s new distribution operation.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

"As we continue to increase investment in U.K. production, this is a natural step in the evolution of Sky’s content business," said Turner Laing. "We are producing world-class television—innovative, creatively ambitious and, in many cases, on an epic scale.
