The new season, commissioned by Netflix in the U.S., heads to the platform in early 2013. Subscribers are also gaining access to <em>Modern Family<\/em>, and exclusively, <em>The League<\/em>. On the drama front, Netflix U.K. and Ireland is launching <em>Lie to Me<\/em>, <em>Sons of Anarchy<\/em> and <em>The Killing<\/em>. Netflix U.K. already has <em>24<\/em>, <em>Prison Break<\/em> and <em>It&#8217;s Always Sunny in Philadelphia<\/em>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&quot;<em>Arrested Development<\/em> is one of the finest American comedies in TV history and we are incredibly excited to bring it back for British and Irish fans,&quot; said Ted Sarandos, Netflix&#8217;s chief content officer. &quot;As today&#8217;s announcement with Twentieth Century Fox clearly shows, we&#8217;re continuing to add all kinds of great content for our U.K. and Ireland to enjoy when and how they want it.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Netflix by bringing the groundbreaking new season of <em>Arrested Development<\/em> to fans in the U.K.,&quot; said Gina Brogi, executive VP of worldwide pay television and subscription VOD for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution.
