Gold is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series with The Comic Strip Presents: <em>Five Go to Rehab<\/em>. The hour-long special is produced by Great Western Features and written by the original writer, Peter Richardson. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Sarah Fraser, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">UKTV&rsquo;s commissioning editor, commented, &ldquo;We are delighted to welcome the Comic Strip family to Gold, Peter has written a brilliant script and <em>Five Go to Rehab<\/em> is one family reunion where extreme havoc reigns.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Steve North, the general manager of Gold, added, &ldquo;Gold is Britain&rsquo;s favorite comedy destination and UKTV&rsquo;s multi-million pound investment in original content reflects the network&rsquo;s ambition to continue to grow the channel and showcase must-see, innovative, comedy content.
