In the best actress category, <em>Appropriate Adult<\/em>&#8216;s Emily Watson is nominated along with Nadine Marshall of <em>Random<\/em>, Romola Garai of <em>The Crimson Petal and the White<\/em> and Vicky McClure of <em>This is England &#8217;88<\/em>. Supporting nods went to actors Andrew Scott and Martin Freeman for <em>Sherlock<\/em>, Joseph Mawle for <em>Birdsong<\/em> and Stephen Rea for <em>The Shadowline<\/em>. In the factual arena, <em>The Choir: Military Wives<\/em> is up against <em>Educating Essex<\/em>,<em> Our War<\/em> and <em>Protecting Our Children: Damned If We Do Damned If We Don&#8217;t<\/em>.
