LONDON\/TORONTO\/LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) is planning to expand its European television operations, with Peter Emerson, the president of eOne Television International, relocating to the company’s London hub. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Emerson will continue to build on eOne’s TV slate. He continues to hold responsibility and oversee all international sales, co-productions and distribution activities for the teams in Toronto, Los Angeles and London. The plans are to broaden its distribution network, gain greater access to premium TV content from around the world and source major co-pro opportunities worldwide. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

“There is a tremendous amount of writing, directing, acting and producing talent here in the U.K., Ireland and throughout Europe,<\/span><\/span>” Emerson said.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>“<\/span><\/span>In being here, my goal is to seek out opportunities for eOne to get involved in television projects at an earlier stage and help put these projects together with our financial support.” <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
