He was formerly the chairman of Virgin Mobile, LOVEFiLM, Phones4U and Alamo\/National Rent a Car.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Carl Hall, the chief executive officer at Parthenon Media Group, said: &quot;The board is delighted to have appointed a chairman with such strong city credibility and the standing of Charles, to position the group for future growth.
