Calver joined LOVEFiLM in 2005, leading its merger with Video Island and  also negotiating the company&#8217;s full takeover by Amazon last year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&quot;I have decided the time is right to hand over the baton to the next leader,&quot; said Calver. &quot;Growing this company has been a fantastic experience and I have had the pleasure of working with a truly talented team, real innovators who introduced a brand new way for millions of movie lovers to enjoy films.
