Other speakers confirmed include Steve Henry and Ali Blackwell of Decoded; Vincent Morisset, founder of AATOAA; Danny Zappin and Lisa Donovan, co-founders of Maker Studios; and Lisa Hsia, executive producer of digital media for Bravo. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">The Digital Minds Summit, a close-door invitation-only event, will feature Gary Woolf, the VP of business development and digital media for sales and distribution at BBC Worldwide; David Ripert, the VP of content at Dailymotion; Sandrine Dufour, the executive VP of innovation and deputy CFO at Vivendi; and John Honeycutt, the executive VP and COO at Discovery Networks International, among others. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Connected Devices and Connected Audiences will be the big focuses for the first day of MIPTV, kicking off with a market overview by Ben Keen, chief analyst at ISH Screen Digest. Other industry executives featured include Christian Bombrun, the deputy managing firector at M6; Dan Saunders, the head of content services at Samsung Electronics Europe;  Jed Simmons, the director of YouTube Next EMEA; and Christian Witt, strategic partner development manager at Google TV.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Further events include a TV&nbsp;Hack Day, which gathers developers and creative talent, and the MIPCube Supersession, featuring the winners of the TV Hack Day, MIPCube Lab and Content 360 competitions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Laurine Garaude, the director of the television division at Reed MIDEM, said, &ldquo;Leading up to MIPTV, MIPCube is the only international high level networking and live learning experience where the key players of the new TV ecosystem&mdash;major media networks, content production companies, brands and agencies&mdash;will join with the leading internet platforms and social networks, tech start-ups and digital media leaders to form the community that will shape the future of TV in all its forms.&rdquo;  <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PARIS: The two-day MIPCube event, held just ahead of the 2012 edition of MIPTV, has added to its lineup of speakers, which includes, among others, Tony Wang, the general manager of Twitter.
