LONDON: Expanding the range of content available on Sky Anytime+, new agreements have been signed to bring BBC iPlayer and ITV Player to the VOD service. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ITV archive content such as Prime Suspect<\/em>, Lewis<\/em> and Cold Feet<\/em> join the service, accessible through the main Sky Anytime+ menu as well as a new dedicated ITV Player section. Later this year, the BBC iPlayer joins the service along with more programming being added to ITV Player. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BBC archive content, including Doctor Who<\/em>, Outnumbered<\/em> and Top Gear<\/em>, is already available on Sky Anytime+ through an existing deal with UKTV. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A number of other enhancements are being made to the service, which will be available to more than 5 million homes at no extra cost by mid-spring. Sky Anytime+ offers programs for Sky’s own channels as well as partners such as MTV, Discovery, FX, HISTORY, Disney and National Geographic Channel. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jeremy Darroch, Sky’s chief executive, commented: "We want customers to get the best out of their Sky subscription and Anytime+ is a great way to give them more control and choice over how they enjoy TV. We already know how popular Sky+ is and how it puts customers back in charge of their TV viewing. Anytime+ builds on that control and it’s no wonder we’ve seen such strong demand for it.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
