Luxembourg-based Network4 Group has launched STORY4, its first channel in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.<\/p>\n

STORY4 features romantic and family-friendly series and films aimed at primarily women viewers. It will also air light crime stories. More than half of the programs were produced after 2014, and 80 percent are only available on STORY4.<\/p>\n

Network4 operates portfolio of general-entertainment channels (TV4, FILM4, STORY4, GALAXY4, MAX4), two sports channels (ARENA4, MATCH4) and a streaming service (NET4+). Its main operations are in Hungary.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe conducted extensive research before launching the channel,\u201d said Andr\u00e1s Bors\u00e1ny-Gyenes, president of the Network4 Group and the Budapest-based DMC\/Digital Media and Communications Ltd. \u201cWe came to the conclusion that there is a lack of linear TV channels that meet the needs of female viewers, who want quality content and to put them first. This is how STORY4 was born, and it is unlike anything else available on the market today. Our slogan is \u2018for true romantics who love a good story,\u2019 and accordingly, we bring the most romance to Czech and Slovak viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n
