{"id":11984,"date":"2022-06-30T09:12:16","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T13:12:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/viaplay-secures-paramount-global-content-distribution-deal\/"},"modified":"2022-06-30T13:35:14","modified_gmt":"2022-06-30T17:35:14","slug":"viaplay-secures-paramount-global-content-distribution-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2022\/06\/30\/viaplay-secures-paramount-global-content-distribution-deal\/","title":{"rendered":"Viaplay Secures Paramount Global Content Distribution Deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Viaplay and Paramount Global Content Distribution have entered into a licensing deal that covers the Nordic and Baltic regions, Poland and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement brings a lineup of CBS series and library boxsets from The CW, Paramount Television Studios and Showtime to the Viaplay platform.<\/p>\n<p>Titles available on Viaplay in the Nordic and Baltic regions include shows such as <em>CSI: Vegas<\/em>, <em>Good Sam<\/em>, <em>HouseBroken<\/em> and <em>4400<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the Nordic region, the agreement includes library boxsets of hits such as <em>Elementary<\/em>, <em>The Good Wife<\/em>, <em>Cheers<\/em>, <em>Madam Secretary<\/em>, <em>CSI: NY<\/em>, <em>90210<\/em>, <em>King of Queens<\/em>, <em>Catch-22<\/em> and <em>Looking for Alaska<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>For Viaplay in Poland, current and library titles include <em>Billions<\/em>, <em>Blood &amp; Treasure<\/em>, <em>FBI: Most Wanted<\/em>, <em>The Good Fight<\/em>, <em>Hawaii Five-0<\/em>, <em>A Million Little Things<\/em>, <em>SEAL Team<\/em>, <em>Survivor<\/em> and <em>Walker<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the Netherlands, shows available on Viaplay include <em>Walker<\/em>, <em>The Good Fight<\/em>, <em>Bull<\/em>, <em>Frasier<\/em>, <em>The Good Wife<\/em>, <em>King of Queens<\/em>, <em>Californication<\/em>, <em>Elementary<\/em>, <em>Madam Secretary<\/em> and <em>Deadwood<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Filippa Wallestam, Viaplay Group&#8217;s chief content officer, said: \u201cParamount is one of Hollywood\u2019s most renowned storytellers, and Viaplay viewers in 10 countries can now enjoy many of the biggest and best shows from their incredible lineup with us.
