S\u00e9rie Series 2022, set to take place in Fontainebleau from June 30 to July 2, has revealed its program, centered around the theme of fiction as a force for good.<\/p>\n
The 2022 edition will feature \u00c9t\u00e9 des S\u00e9ries, an exclusive program of meetings, outdoor screenings and events in the Ile-de-France region throughout the month of July.\u00a0Nuit des S\u00e9ries, meanwhile, will consist of more than 4-and-a-half hours of new or recently broadcast series on the France.tv Slash platform, with series in preview (Reuss<\/em>, Chair Tendre<\/em>) and iconic series (Stalk<\/em>, Parlement<\/em>, Derby Girl<\/em>).<\/p>\n Prix Gloria, in partnership with Banque Palatine, will reward a French fiction series that represents women either through the creative process or through the subject of the work with an endowment of \u20ac5,000 ($5,260). The jury members are Pauline Dauvin (VP of programming, production and acquisitions at The Walt Disney Company France), Julien Lilti (co-screenwriter of Hippocrate<\/em>, Family Business<\/em>, Oussekine<\/em>, Germinal<\/em>), Barbara Schulz (writer and actress who recently received the Moli\u00e8re of Interpretation Prize), Audrey Isma\u00ebl (composer of Germinal<\/em>, Vortex<\/em>, Les Grands<\/em>), Cathy Verney (screenwriter and director of Vernon Subutex<\/em>, Hard<\/em>) and Philippe Pettini (corporate market director of Banque Palatine).<\/p>\n S\u00e9rie Series 2022 invites a reflection around the question: Can fiction make the world a better place? It is a common thread of the programming featured throughout the festival. Adam Kay will discuss how his bestseller This is Going to Hurt<\/em>, whose adaptation recently broadcast on Canal+, illustrates his creative and committed vision around the topics of the British health system. Ellie Haworth, project manager for BBC Media Action, and Sevda Shishmanova, Bulgarian filmmaker, former journalist and former director of fiction for the Bulgarian pubcaster BNT, will discuss their views and present concrete examples that will try to answer the question.<\/p>\n Ukrainian producer Kateryna Vyshnevska and Ukrainian-Israeli-American producer Maria Feldman\u00a0will discuss the impact of war and adversity on creation. The creators of the Belgian series Lost Luggage<\/em> will explain why they decided to place their series in the context of the 2016 Brussels airport attacks.
