{"id":11460,"date":"2021-12-06T10:56:24","date_gmt":"2021-12-06T15:56:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/mia-market-unveils-2022-dates\/"},"modified":"2021-12-06T11:51:02","modified_gmt":"2021-12-06T16:51:02","slug":"mia-market-unveils-2022-dates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2021\/12\/06\/mia-market-unveils-2022-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"MIA Market Unveils 2022 Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MIA\u2014Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo is set to return to Rome from October 19 to 23, 2022, for its eighth edition.<\/p>\n<p>The eighth edition will be held in the Barberini District with a four-day program of panels, showcases and screenings, promoted by MIA\u2019s three divisions: Scripted, Unscripted and Strategic Development. As for the previous editions, on-site activities will be enhanced and integrated with online ones, through MIA DIGITAL.<\/p>\n<p>The recently wrapped 2021 edition welcomed a total of 2,000 accredited participants from 56 countries. The more than 600 international key players in Rome were joined by 450 producers, 800 buyers of finished products and projects, 150 market screenings (80 of which were previews), 150 projects and works in progress (70 percent Italian), 59 panels at Cinema Moderno and Palazzo Barberini and 40,000 B2B meetings.<\/p>\n<p>MIA is a joint venture between ANICA\u2014 l&#8217;Associazione Nazionale Industrie Cinematografiche Audiovisive e Digitali, presided by Francesco Rutelli, and APA\u2014Associazione Produttori Audiovisivi, chaired by Giancarlo Leone. It also has the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ICE (agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of the Italian industry), MiC (Ministry of Culture), Ministry of Economic Development, Lazio Region and MEDIA program of the European Union.
