We\u2019re proud to deliver eOne\u2019s vast slate of international hits to audiences across the Nordics, especially as we make headway and continue to widen our focus within this territory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>eOne&#8217;s agreements were made with key broadcasters such as TV2 and NRK in Norway; Tele2 and TV4 in Sweden; S\u00edminn and Syn in Iceland; YLE in Finland; and DRTV in Denmark, as well as C More on a pan-regional basis. The range of programming includes <em>Upright<\/em>, <em>Burden of Truth<\/em>, <em>Heartland<\/em>, <em>Nurses<\/em> and more.<\/p>\n<p>Other titles included in the deal are <em>Moonshine<\/em>, <em>Family Law<\/em>, <em>Between Two Worlds<\/em> and <em>La Garconne<\/em>, as well as factual specials such as <em>The Battle for Hong Kong<\/em>, <em>Inside China<\/em> and <em>Outbreak: The Virus that Shook the World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>These deals come after eOne&#8217;s success in the region with <em>The Rookie<\/em>, which launched on Norway&#8217;s TV2 as the number one highest-rated U.S. scripted series premiere for over three years. On Sweden&#8217;s Tele2, <em>The Rookie<\/em> is number one in both total viewing and audience retention, and it ranked as S\u00edminn&#8217;s highest-rated scripted show of 2020 in Iceland.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The studio is also increasing its presence beyond distribution with original IP. It is partnering with SAM Productions on the development of a new local series yet to be announced. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Spyro Markesinis, executive VP of Sales for EMEA and Asia at eOne, said: \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to continue making significant progress in the Nordics, led by Carolina, further strengthening our position as a major player in the region.
