Asacha Media Group (AMG) is building out its footprint in Europe with the acquisition of the French scripted production group Kabo Family.<\/p>\n
The founders of Kabo Family\u2014Christian Baumard, Alain Kappauf, St\u00e9phane Moatti and Sophie d’Abancourt\u2014will retain a minority stake while becoming shareholders in AMG alongside the company\u2019s founding partners, Oaktree and producer partners across the international group.<\/p>\n
Kabo Family comprises ten production companies and labels: Noon, Thalie Images (led by Moatti and Judith Erlich), Kelija Productions (led by Katia Rais), En Voiture Simone (led by Caroline Solanillas and Laurent Cecaldi), Rosalita Productions (led by Yan Goazampis), Yada Prod (led by Arnaud Figaret), Vacarme (led by Barbara Maubert), Kapitch (led by Khaled Amara) and MKS (a partnership with Marvelous led by Romain Legrand and Vivien Aslanian).<\/p>\n
Kabo and its companies have produced such series as Sc\u00e8nes de M\u00e9nages<\/em> and En Famille<\/em> for M6, which are starting their 13th and 10th seasons, respectively, as well as Le Mensonge<\/em> for France 2, Mixte<\/em> for Amazon Prime Video and Girl Squad<\/em> for France T\u00e9l\u00e9vision Numerique.<\/p>\n Gaspard de Chavagnac and Marina Williams, co-founders and co-CEOs of Asacha Media Group, said: \u201cWe are excited to join forces with Kabo Family and accelerate the growth of Asacha Media Group\u2019s business in France.
