That\u2019s Media\u2019s brand-new U.K. channel That\u2019s TV Gold has launched on Sky and Freeview.<\/p>\n
The new service will broadcast premium nostalgic content from across the decades with a programming lineup that includes concerts and musicians, documentaries and films. That\u2019s TV Gold will complement the heritage of sister channel, That\u2019s TV, which has operated on Freeview since November 2014. The That\u2019s TV network currently broadcasts in 20 metro regions of the U.K. on Freeview.<\/p>\n
The new service will broadcast free-to-air on Sky and on Freeview. It will provide substantial Freeview coverage across the U.K. where That\u2019s TV is not currently available, including London, East and West Midlands, North East England and Northern Ireland. The service will also be available to viewers across the U.K. with a suitable internet-connected Freeview television.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s TV Gold\u2019s content lineup will feature iconic programming dedicated to the likes of The Beatles, Elvis, ABBA, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart. A That\u2019s Concert strand will also be aired showcasing the talents of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Luciano Pavarotti, Barry White, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. There will also be documentaries on The Bee Gees, The Kinks, The Rat Pack and The Clash. Further supplementary programming will celebrate jazz maestros, classic musicals and more documentary films on such icons as Marilyn Monroe, Muhammed Ali and Bruce Lee.<\/p>\n
