WWE has entered into a new partnership with Virgin Media Television to broadcast highlights of flagship programs Raw<\/em> and SmackDown<\/em> on free-to-air television for the first time in Ireland.<\/p>\n Beginning March 27, Virgin Media Two will air a one-hour version of Raw<\/em> on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and a one-hour version of SmackDown<\/em> on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. The weekly programming will be broadcast 52 weeks a year.<\/p>\n As part of the agreement, WWE documentaries will also be available on VMTV, including WWE 24: Becky Lynch<\/em> and WWE 24: Finn B\u00e1lor<\/em>, which offer fans a closer look at the lives and careers of the Irish-born WWE Superstars.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are excited to bring our flagship programming to free-to-air television for the first time in Ireland with Virgin Media Television,\u201d said Andy Warkman, WWE’s VP, general manager for Europe and sub-Saharan Africa. \u201cThis new partnership is a momentous step for the WWE brand and is terrific news for our passionate fanbase in Ireland.\u201d<\/p>\n Mick McCaffrey, head of news and sport at Virgin Media, added: \u201cWe are absolutely delighted to be bringing WWE to Irish free to air viewers each Saturday and Sunday on Virgin Media Two.
