A group of London-based international distributors\u2014including all3media international, Banijay Rights, eOne, Fremantle and ITV Studios\u2014have established the London Screenings as an official event.<\/p>\n
The screenings have been taking place for several years around the time of BBC Studios Showcase, but the London Screenings will now be officially named as such and will take place as an annual event led by the group. The London Screenings will launch on March 1, 2021, following on from the BBC Studios Showcase, which is scheduled to take place from February 22 to 24, 2021.<\/p>\n
The event will be held virtually in 2021, with a view to a return to live physical events from 2022.<\/p>\n
The spokesperson for the group commented: \u201cOver previous years, the week in London post-BBC Studios Showcase has become a destination for key buyers around the world. This has been down to the caliber of the events and presentations arranged by the key London-based distributors.
