A member of The Academy of Television Arts &amp; Sciences (iEmmy), Romer will also continue to sit on Reed Midem\u2019s Advisory Board.<\/p>\n<p>Romer has a long track record of securing successful formats for the Danish market, including <em>Who Wants to Be a Millionaire<\/em>, <em>Jeopardy<\/em>, <em>Wheel of Fortune<\/em>,<em> The Block<\/em>, <em>Strictly Come Dancing<\/em>, <em>Taskmaster<\/em>, and most recently, <em>Race Across the World<\/em>. In January, she received an Honorary Award from the Danish Producers\u2019 Association celebrating her career and achievements in sourcing and producing formats and programs that became hits.<\/p>\n<p>Romer said: \u201cI am truly looking forward to continuing my work within the international TV industry. I feel very passionate about the field of formats and it is a very welcome challenge to continue to use my expertise, not least because it includes looking at the full spectrum of broadcasters in the Nordics. I have a long-standing relationship with STV Productions, a company with solid values built up and professionalized over three decades, and I hope to contribute to the continued success of the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maria Thastum, partner and programme director at STV Productions, said: \u201cWe are really pleased that Anette has accepted our offer to join STV. The current market is extremely consolidated, fewer and fewer attractive formats are available, so scouting ideas is of the utmost importance to our company\u2014STV Production being one of the few independent companies of size in the Nordics. And who would be better at it than Anette with her extensive experience and huge international network.
