The channel plans to expand its lineup with Hollywood blockbusters and popular hits in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung TV Plus comes automatically installed on all 2016-2020 Samsung smart TVs and offers over 50 channels to users across news, sports, entertainment and more. SPI\/FilmBox and Samsung Electronics had previously partnered to bring linear channels and VOD content from major distributors to Samsung smart TVs via SPI\u2019s content service, FilmBox Live.<\/p>\n<p>Guney Yasavur, COO at SPI International, said: \u201cThe rise of on-demand content consumption has left some viewers with the need to unwind and embrace the laid-back viewing experience of linear TV. The addition of Filmstream to Samsung Electronics\u2019 new generation video service Samsung TV Plus, will offer viewers the optimal laid-back entertainment experience through the convergence of traditional and digital television.
