The AMC Networks streaming platform Acorn TV is slated to roll out in the U.K. starting Wednesday, April 29.<\/p>\n
Acorn TV UK will be available to consumers in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The platform will launch in the U.K. with the Acorn TV original series Queens of Mystery<\/em>, all nine seasons of Foyle\u2019s War<\/em>, contemporary adaptations of some of Agatha Christie\u2019s most popular novels and the BBC Wales drama Keeping Faith<\/em>.<\/p>\n Acorn TV will add exclusive new programs every subsequent Monday, and all programs will include English subtitles. The ITV drama Girlfriends<\/em>, the New Zealand detective drama Harry<\/em>, the first two seasons of The Bletchley Circle <\/em>and\u00a0the Scandinavian crime drama Black Widows<\/em> are among the additional titles that will be available on the platform. Consumers can subscribe to the service via acorn.tv and watch Acorn TV online with an extended 30-day free trial for a limited time. The service can also be accessed on Roku, Fire TV, Android and Apple mobile and Apple TV, and is coming soon to Amazon Channels and Apple TV Channels.
