In an effort to overcome the cancellation of upcoming markets, TV France International is reinforcing its screening rooms, which are set up during the events it attends with its members.<\/p>\n
Operated within Screenopsis and entirely dedicated to buyers, each screening room is curated according to the market in question and allows users to screen content on demand. For S\u00e9ries Mania, five series chosen to be shown to foreign buyers as part of Coming Next from France (Algiers Confidential<\/em>, Voltaire in Love<\/em>, Derby Girl<\/em>, Stalk <\/em>and Stratum<\/em>), will be available on the Series Mania Digital Forum. This online platform will be available to registered visitors to the Forum from March 25 to April 7.<\/p>\n For MIPTV, the 43 companies that should have attended the market as part of the TVFI stand will now be able to showcase ten programs within the screening room as opposed to the four originally planned. The MIPTV screening room has also been opened up to TV France members who were to attend MIPTV but not represented as part of the company stand, making for a total of 68 companies showcasing online.<\/p>\n The initiatives will be pushed by notifications from Screenopsis and LEGuide, reaching TV France\u2019s database of several thousand international TV content buyers.<\/p>\n Sarah Hemar, executive director of TV France International, said: \u201cFor export professionals like ourselves, whose business is based on meetings, exchanges and international travel, the cancelation of the audiovisual sector\u2019s next big events\u2014Series Mania, MIPTV, MIPDoc, MIPFormats and South Korea\u2019s Busan Content Market\u2014forces us to adapt our way of working.\u201d<\/p>\n At TV France, we will support professionals as much as possible during this difficult time, in particular through our digital tools, which we continue to develop: our digital platform, Screenopsis, is a true online window for French production along with its app, LEGuide. Mobile access was launched last September at Le Rendez-Vous Biarritz 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n Hemar added: \u201cWe are lucky to have a powerful online screening platform and a new app that has met with rapid uptake among our buyers. We have nearly 2,000 users to date and a total of 12,000 page views.
