Throwing himself into an increasingly absurd quest for recognition, he discovers that only a successful relationship can make him &#8220;Big Lars&#8221; at last.<\/p>\n<p>Hjortsh\u00f8j will be supported by special guest appearances from a number of Danish celebrities. <em>Big Lars<\/em> will premiere exclusively across the Nordic region on NENT Group\u2019s Viaplay streaming service on April 23.<\/p>\n<p>Filippa Wallestam, NENT Group&#8217;s chief content officer, said: \u201cWe continue to diversify Viaplay\u2019s offering with this hilarious, awkward and ultimately touching series. Lars Hjortsh\u00f8j is one of Denmark\u2019s most creative comedians and<em> Big Lars<\/em> brings deft humor to a familiar dilemma\u2014is it more important that others recognize us or that we keep sight of ourselves?
