Keeley Hawes (<em>Line of Duty<\/em>, <em>The Durrells<\/em>, <em>The Missing<\/em>) and Richard Madden (<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>, <em>Cinderella<\/em>) star in the series.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bodyguard<\/em> is produced by World Productions, an ITV Studios company. The series is the most-watched new drama launch of 2018 in the U.K.; episode one received a consolidated figure of 10.4 million viewers, with a 40.9 percent share on BBC One.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Kyriacou, president of international at ITV Studios, said:\u00a0&#8220;<em>Bodyguard<\/em> has gripped the nation with its twists and turns. It&#8217;s a perfect example of a show produced locally which has huge global appeal.
